Take a look at the upcoming events on the official OHIO Calendar of University Events. Anyone with an active OHIO ID can log in and complete the form to add events that are sponsored by any OHIO planning unit or registered student organization.

CommonSpot Basic Content Contributor Training 

9-11:30 a.m., Monday, July 9 | WUSOC 175 

OHIO Information Technology is offering basic CommonSpot training for new users or for existing users to refresh your understanding of managing content in CommonSpot. It is open to all OHIO faculty, staff, and students. 

MDIA’s High School Media Workshop

All Day, Wednesday, July 11 – Saturday, July 14 | Athens Campus 

The School of Media Arts and Studies High School Media Workshop offers high school students the opportunity to interact with MDIA faculty while learning the latest techniques in audio, video, games and animation, storytelling/producing and social media. 

Public Telescope Nights at the Ohio University Observatory

9:30-11 p.m., Wednesday, July 11 | Ohio University Observatory in The Ridges

Telescope nights are hosted by the Ohio University Astrophysical Institute and Department of Physics & Astronomy faculty and students. Visitors may see lunar craters, Saturn's rings, Jupiter, Mars, star clusters, or distant galaxies, depending on the time of year and sky conditions.

First summer session grades available

Last day to apply for or change a grading option for second summer session class

Last day to receive partial fee adjustment for complete withdrawal for second summer session

Last day to remove (drop) a second summer session class with possible fee adjustment

Last day to register for second summer session

Saturday, July 7

Last day to check out of residence hall to receive 60% housing/meal plan refund for second session
