Provost Djalali announces College of Arts and Sciences dean finalists

Executive Vice President and Provost Chaden Djalali is pleased to announce that four finalists have been invited to interview on campus as candidates for Ohio University’s next dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, a position that became open after Dean Robert Frank stepped down in May 2018. Dr. Joseph Shields was named interim dean shortly afterward and a national search was facilitated for the new dean.

As part of the interview process, the University community will have an opportunity to interact with the candidates during open forums where they will deliver a brief presentation and answer questions from students, faculty and staff.

Open forums for all students, faculty and staff will take place in on the following dates and times. The public is invited to attend open forum sessions, and OHIO students, faculty and staff with an OHIO ID may access a livestream via links provided below. Please note that ASL interpretation will be provided at each location and presented in a video screen of the online broadcast.
