For Ohio University students who are interested in working in event management, the Career and Leadership Development Center will be hosting its second industry panel, focused on aspects of the event management industry, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, in Baker University Center 503. The panel will run for one hour to be followed by a 30-minute networking session with light hors d’oeuvres and drinks.
The panel will allow students to learn more about the event management industry, the career paths of more experienced professionals in that industry and gain insight about how they can apply their majors to a future career. The panelists will include representatives from:
- Ohio University Alumni Association
- Ohio Brew Week
- Hyatt Regency Columbus
The Industry Panels: Event Management is the second of four panels the CLDC is hosting this academic year.
The panel is free and open to all students and alumni. Registration is required to attend this panel and is open until Wednesday, Nov. 8. If you are interested in registering after Nov. 8, please contact Erika Peyton, assistant director for employer relations and marketing at the CLDC, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Those in attendance are encouraged to dress professionally, but there is no specific dress requirement to attend the event.
