Theater Division to present 'The Skin of our Teeth' by Thornton Wilder in April

The Ohio University Theater Division in the School of Dance, Film and Theater is proud to present the fourth production of the 2017-18 season, “The Skin of Our Teeth,” by Thornton Wilder.

Directed by Ben Stockman, the play will be presented in the Radio-Television Building’s Forum Theater, April 5–7 and April 11–14.

This beloved American classic combines farce, burlesque and satire to follow an Eternal Family who narrowly escape ice, flood, and war—by the skin of their teeth.

Ben Stockman directs his M.F.A. thesis project as the culmination of his degree in the Professional Director Training Program.

The student cast includes Alex Amery, Erik Armstrong, Haley Reese Calhoun, Ellie Clark, Connor Daughtery, Sam Fisher, Annie Ganousis, Rachel Gaunce, Chloe Grogean, Elizabeth Hendricks, Bill McAtee, Lyssa Menosky, Perri Olson, Sam Redfern, Nick Slaughter, Steve Suydam, Devon Swanson, Aidan Tracy and Payton Wilks.

The performances will take place at 8 p.m. each day with talkbacks following the performances on April 7 and April 11.

Through Arts for OHIO, tickets are free for OHIO students with a student ID. Regular tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for other students and seniors.
