‘Clubs Across Campus’ spotlights volunteer community outreach group (VIDEO)

Ohio University Communications and Marketing’s latest “Clubs Across Campus” video takes a look at a student organization on the Athens Campus committed to problem solving, education and service within the community.

Renaissance Engineers, an educational outreach program, works within the community solving problems with the application of engineering knowledge and skills. Embracing the Russ College of Engineering and Technology’s mantra of “Create for Good,” members of the group volunteer in the communities surrounding Athens, hosting events for children to promote education and interest in math and science. Members meet biweekly, and the organization is open to anyone with the drive to volunteer and learn.

In this “Clubs Across Campus” video, Renaissance Engineers President Evan Streator shares information about the group and highlights some of its efforts in the local community. For more information about Renaissance Engineers, visit https://orgsync.com/159576/chapter.
