"The Trisolini Print Project"

October 6, 2003-May 21, 2004

This traveling exhibition, which tours to Ohio University regional campuses in celebration of the University's bicentennial, features approximately 20 prints from the Kennedy Museum's Trisolini Print Project of the Contemporary Print Collection. The Trisolini Print Project was initiated in 1978 by former Dean of the College of Fine Arts Henry Lin and coordinated by master printer and artist Professor Donald Roberts. Important contemporary artists, with little or no printmaking experience, were invited into the School of Art's print workshop to realize concepts in print media. With these artist residencies an important body of printed work was produced. Artists include: Richard Artschwager, Alice Aycock, Nancy Holt, Bruce Nauman, and Robert Stackhouse, just to name a few. The exhibition is accompanied by supplementary educational material including a catalog and text panel. The exhibition is curated by Donald Roberts and the tour is organized by the Kennedy Museum of Art.
