Supporting clinical research

The Clinical & Translational Research Unit is a centralized resource that supports Ohio University faculty, staff and students who are conducting clinical research with human subjects.

The Heritage College's research activities are helping to forge new ties with the general public, the scientific community, health care professionals and the biomedical and pharmaceutical industries.

Our mission

Our mission is to provide the best possible environment for clinical research – one that fosters the creation of new knowledge in health care and protects the safety and well-being of study participants who put their trust in our hands.

Our vision is to be nationally recognized as one of the leading clinical trial facilities associated with a medical school.

We operate under the guiding principles of respect for all people, unwavering adherence to the highest ethical standards and a deep sense of interdisciplinary collaboration to further the advancement of healthcare.
