Building Hours and Badge Access
Building Hours
The Cleveland campus is open to the public Monday through Friday 6:30 am - 6 pm, and is closed Saturday & Sunday. The following areas are accessible without a badge while the building is open:
- First and second floor lobbies and restrooms
- First-floor administrative suite lobby, open Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm
- First- floor café - open 10 am - 1 pm Monday - Friday. The café opens the first day of fall classes each year and closes over the summer. There is also a Bistro in the main South Pointe Hospital building, open 7 am - 2 pm, 7 days a week.
Campus Security
Building security hours are Monday through Friday 5am-9pm. Clinic Police are located on the South Pointe Campus 24/7. Please make note that our call-in Security Number is 216-491-5588. Security is available 24/7 to report any suspicious site activity or simply to provide a helpful escort service to your vehicle in the parking lot.
Badge Access
Cleveland campus students can access the building 24/7 with their Cleveland Clinic badge. This badge will also give students access to the following restricted rooms in the building:
- Building A - Employee/student entrance (side door)
- Building A - Front door entrance
- LRC front entrance
- Group study rooms (2nd floor)
- Theater room (260)
- Classroom 243
- Game room (254)
- OMM (280)
- Anatomy Lab (270)
- 3rd/4th floor elevator access
- 3rd/4th floor stairwell access
- 337 fitness room
- Group study rooms (3rd floor in Clinical Education Suite)
- These group study rooms should be utilized by Y3 and Y4 students prior to using other group study rooms. Other group study rooms can be used if these rooms are in use. Y1/Y2 students are encouraged to use these study rooms as a last resort.
- Seminar rooms (4th floor)
Students also have limited swipe access to these rooms from 7 am - 7 pm:
