Research Interest

My research focuses on glucose transport and glucose metabolism in cancer and diabetes; signal transduction of insulin mediated pathways in diabetes and insulin resistance; role of adipogenisis in obesity and type 2 diabetes; anit-diabetic and anticancer compounds from natural and synthetic sources; basal glucose transport and apoptosis in cancer cells.
