Our Mission

The Heritage College Cleveland student chapter of the Emergency Medicine Club's purpose is to expose its members to emergency medicine and related topics through a variety of lectures and laboratories.

  1. The organization has as its objectives:

        1. To familiarize its members with Emergency Medicine and Osteopathic Medicine
        2. To encourage advancement in diagnostic skills including ultrasound
        3. To provide public awareness to health and safety
        4. To contribute to the overall education of its members.

Services Provided

The Emergency Medicine Club at the Cleveland campus is dedicated to improving the state of the university as well as the community that it is in. Volunteer opportunities within the community and the university will be provided to expand upon this. Additionally, we are proud to have a strong association with the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians and members will be encouraged to join, and participate in their events. The Emergency Medicine Club at the Cleveland campus is dedicated to improving the state of the university as well as the community that it is in.   • Numerous shadowing opportunities
  • Lectures from practicing emergency physicians
  • Ultrasound workshops
  • Mock code scenarios
  • Emergency Medicine Skills Day
     
    Events will be paid for with funds from dues.
