Endorsement Procedure of Internal Funding from Ohio University

The Heritage College Office of Research and Grants and the Office of the Executive Dean have developed an internal process for reviewing and endorsing internal proposal submissions.  All submissions need to be reviewed and endorsed by the Associate Dean for Research and Innovation and the Executive Dean prior to submission.

Because internal proposals may not be submitted to the Vice President for Research Office at OU until the HCOM Executive Dean has signed the cover sheet after the application had been reviewed and endorsed by the Associate Dean for Research and Innovation at HCOM, please plan to submit:

  1. A letter of intent including the title of the proposal and an abstract describing the proposal no less than 2 weeks prior to the proposal deadline.
  2. A detailed proposal and cover sheet to the Office of Research and Grants no less than seven business days prior to the proposal deadline.
  3. Please inform the Associate Dean for Research and Innovation of any major change of the plan of the studies no less than 3 business days prior to the proposal deadline.

Deadlines for internal funding can be found by visiting https://www.ohio.edu/research/Funding.cfm.  For questions regarding this procedure, please contact the Office of Research and Grants at 740.593.2333.
