The interdisciplinary nature of the global studies–Europe major is designed to
provide you with a broad understanding of Europe in general, and to understand
the changing nature of European economics, culture, and politics. These skills
are applicable for a wide variety of professions. Majors are required to study three years of one European language and study abroad or intern in Europe where that language is utilized. Students must consult with their advisor and the Education Abroad Office before
committing to an internship or study abroad program.
Our students are well equipped for careers with non-governmental and governmental organizations, multinational corporations, and think tanks, as well as to pursue graduate degrees in related fields.
Students are required to study abroad.
