Fundamentals of Public Speaking
The Fundamentals of Public Speaking course develops understanding of theories and skills related to successful communication in the presentational speaking context. Through the use of interpretive and rhetorical methods students understand meaning, context, culture, diversity, ethics, research, and language in the development and delivery of informative and persuasive speeches that are informed by and adapted to desired audiences.

Human Biology I: Basic Principles
Human Biology I examines humans as biological organisms: our origins, ecology, and inheritance, and functioning of our body systems.

College Algebra
Math 1200 takes students through the basics of equations, functions and graphs. This includes linear equations and systems, polynomials, rational and radical expressions, quadratic equations, exponential and logarithmic functions, and inequalities.

Writing and Rhetoric I
Writing and Rhetoric 1 allows students to practice composing and revising expository essays that are well organized, logically coherent, and effective for their purpose and audience. Topics from personal experience, nonfiction reading, and research material.
