Lancaster City Schools has employment opportunities for substitute teachers and other service areas in the schools. All students, regardless of their major, are welcome to attend.
“I think this is an incredible opportunity for all of our students to earn some extra money, help the community and sharpen those interviewing skills,” Dr. Debra Dunning, associate professor of instruction and program coordinator of early childhood and elementary education said.
“Districts all over Ohio are dealing with substitute staffing shortages,“ said Michelle Williams, human resources coordinator for Lancaster City Schools. “Substituting at Lancaster City Schools will give you a wealth of transferable skills that will give you an edge in both your professional and personal life.”
The Substitute Fair also gives students an opportunity to improve their resume, develop an elevator speech, and work on their interviewing skills with OHIO Lancaster’s Career Coach, Brandy Bailey.
Registration is not required for this event.
