Ohio University Lancaster Theatre is pleased to announce its latest production, Friends Celebrating the Music of Broadway.
Friends Celebrating the Music of Broadway is part of this year’s Lancaster Festival. The production will run two live performances on Sunday, July 25, at 2 pm and 7 pm in the Wagner Theatre on the Lancaster Campus. The production marks the Ohio University Lancaster Theatre program’s return to live theatre after a year-long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Friends Celebrating the Music of Broadway will celebrate some of Ohio University Lancaster Theatre’s past productions and include some of their favorite show tunes.
This year marks our 10th production with the Lancaster Festival," Victor Jones, Artistic Director and Assistant Professor of Instruction, said. "Ten years ago I had a vision of creating a yearly summer community production that included our OUL team, students, and community members. This show is look back at those memorable productions and features our students, theatre alumni, and community members. There is something for everyone."

A rich tradition of theatre continues to thrive and grow on the Ohio University Lancaster campus. Ohio University Lancaster’s Theatre program typically offers three to four major productions a year, one of which is featured during the historic Lancaster Festival.
