March 01, 2019 : High School Visit Day scheduled for March 7

Ohio University Lancaster offers future students the opportunity to visit talk with current students, staff and faculty; tour the facilities and experience the campus firsthand at a series of visit days throughout the year.

Enrollment and admissions officials at Ohio University Lancaster encourage future college students to take the time to visit the campuses that they are considering. “If a student has a strong interest in a particular college, they should visit,” said Enrollment Manager Joshua Moore. “Seeing it first hand and talking with the people helping you through the process is crucial.”

The next event is Thursday, March 7 at 6 pm in Brasee Hall. Students, parents and their guests may register for visit days online at or contact Student Services at 740.681.3310.

“Students can earn a great degree here at an affordable cost,” said Moore. “And at Ohio University Lancaster | Pickerington, our credentialed faculty teach smaller classes to help them succeed.”

Visit Days are scheduled each month at times and dates convenient for students and their families. There are many  degree programs in business, health, technology, public service and education that can be completed at Ohio University Lancaster | Pickerington.  In addition, any of Ohio University’s 250 majors can be started at Ohio University Lancaster | Pickerington and finished at the Athens campus.

Over 2,500 students enroll for the resources of Ohio University and the convenience of two locations in Fairfield County – Lancaster and the Pickerington Center (near Hill Road). To apply online or learn more about the options available, visit
