Lancaster – Ohio University Lancaster is the host campus for the 2013 Association for University Regional Campuses of Ohio Conference (AURCO) on April 12 and 13. Interim Chancellor for the Ohio Board of Regents Dr. Stephanie Davidson is the keynote speaker. The theme of this year's conference is "Investing in Our Future." Davidson will speak about the future of the regional higher education in the State of Ohio. Davidson joined the Board of Regents in December 2007 as the Director of Academic Programs. She was named Associate Vice Chancellor of Program Development and Approval in January 2009 before being named Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs. Davidson was named Interim Chancellor in February after Jim Petro's retirement.

AURCO is a multi-disciplinary conference featuring pedagogical workshops, faculty research, and student presentations. This year's event will feature 25 workshops, panels and sessions presented by 116 faculty and students from across the state. Several topics will be discussed at the conference including online classes, history and culture and the evolving regional campus experience.
