June 11, 2017 : It’s not too late to apply for Fall Semester

VisitDaySessionCentral Ohio residents interested in continuing their education can still apply in person or online to enroll for fall semester at Ohio University Lancaster | Pickerington. With the convenience of two locations in Fairfield County – Lancaster and the Pickerington Center (near Hill Road). it’s easier than ever for Central Ohio residents to begin their education or go back to college with classes starting August 28th.

“Many people think the application deadline has passed, said Enrollment Manager Pat Fox, but at Ohio University Lancaster | Pickerington, residents with at least a high school diploma, completion of a home school curriculum or a G.E.D. can still be admitted.”

There are many associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in business, health, technology, public service and education  that can be completed at Ohio University Lancaster | Pickerington.  In addition, any of Ohio University’s 250 majors can be started at Ohio University Lancaster | Pickerington and finished at the Athens campus.

“We are all Ohio University, it is really a seamless process to start here and finish in Athens if you still want be a Bobcat,” said Fox.

Those who are working full-time, whether freshmen or returning students, are encouraged to enroll part-time. “Another misconception is that students have to be full-time to qualify for federal financial aid,” said Fox. “In fact, the minimum requirement is just 6 credit hours. If you need to work full-time, we suggest you take a class or two as opposed three or four. It’s okay to take a little more time to graduate as long as you graduate.”

A series of detailed sessions are scheduled throughout the month of June and July to explain the steps to enroll for fall semester. Register at or call 740-681 3310.
