Student-Athletes selected to ORCC All-Academic Teams

May 25, 2016, Lancaster, Ohio – The Ohio Regional Campus Athletic Conference (ORCC) has selected nineteen area students from Ohio University Lancaster to the All-Academic Teams for the 2016 Spring Semester.

 

"I want to congratulate all our student-athletes for making the All-Academic Team,” said Jeff Whitehead, Athletic and Student Activities Director, "Their success shows a strong work ethic and the importance they place not only on athletics but also academics."

 

To qualify for the ORCC All- Academic Teams, a student must be enrolled for a minimum of 12 graded credit hours and earn a 3.0 grade point average. Students honored with All-Academic team status are grouped by their sport and listed with their high school.

Women’s Basketball

The Ohio University Lancaster Campus supports several athletic teams including men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, men's baseball, men's and women's tennis, golf, and women's softball. The Ohio Regional Campus Conference was founded in 1973 and is an independent sports organization that serves the State of Ohio's regional campuses. The ORCC has nine member institutions and fields eight sports-women's volleyball, women's basketball, men's basketball, women's softball, women's tennis, men's baseball, men's tennis, and golf.
