March 17, 2016 : All-Conference Selections Feature Eight Area Ohio University Lancaster Students

The Ohio Regional Campus Athletic Conference (ORCC) has selected eight area students from Ohio University Lancaster to the All-Conference Team.


First team men honors went to Lancaster High School graduate Korey Arledge, who averaged 23 points per game, 8 rebounds and was also named MVP of the conference. Honorable mentions went to Jordan Barr, David Justus and Alton Frizzell.


First team Women’s honors went to Liberty Union High School graduate Morgan Kirkbride. Arjanna Knul earned a second team selection. Honorable mentions went to Sara Miles and Sherri Burns.


 “Ohio University Lancaster students compete at a very high level,” said Jeff Whitehead, Athletic and Student Activities Director, “the all-conference recognition is well-deserved.”

Ohio University Lancaster Campus supports several athletic teams including men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, men's baseball, men's and women's tennis, golf, and women's softball. The Ohio Regional Campus Conference was founded in 1973 and is an independent sports organization that serves the State of Ohio's regional campuses. The ORCC has nine members and currently fields eight sports: women's volleyball, women's basketball, men's basketball, women's softball, women's tennis, men's baseball, men's tennis, and golf.
