Ohio University Lancaster students, faculty, and staff have a new food service option this fall. The campus has developed a schedule for food trucks to provide service on campus, beginning this week.
Tortilla Street Food will bring its Mexican street food to campus Thursday, August 27th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Schmidt’s Sausage Truck will be serving lunch on Wednesday, September 2nd from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Both food trucks have gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan menu items available.
“This semester looks different in a lot of ways for faculty and students,” Carissa Anderson, interim associate dean of campus operations said. “We’re excited to provide this option to our campus community during a time when campus activity is limited.”
In addition to the food truck events, the campus has added cold drink vending machines in both Brasee Hall and Herrold Hall. A brand new vending machine for snacks has also been added to the North Lobby of Brasee Hall.
The food truck events are open to the public as well as to the campus.
