Kids on Campus, in partnership with the Ohio Association of Foodbanks, is looking for people who want to make a difference this summer. Are you interested in doing something meaningful and working with some GREAT KIDS? Consider becoming an AmeriCorps VISTA member in Athens and devote a summer toward fighting poverty and building professional experience. Successful Coat and Boot Drive Helps Hundreds of Kids

Approximately 300 coats and 160 pairs of boots were collected and distributed following a drive held last semester. Read More

Kids on Campus Coat and Boot Drive

Donations of winter coats and boots are being accepted now through December 8. New or gently used coats are needed as well as new boots. Drop off locations can be found at WellWorks, CHSP Dean's Office, AHSW, SPH, RCS, SON, and multiple Division of Student Affairs sites. Donations to the Kids on Campus program are also welcome. Kids on Campus keeping Athens warm

The Kids on Campus organization with the help of the College of Health Sciences and Professions and the community collected thermals and boots for the children in the Athens area, providing supplies for 182 kids. In its 20th year, Kids on Campus serving more children than ever

As the College of Health Sciences and Professions’ Kids on Campus program (KoC) enters its second decade of service to underserved local children, its presence is more vital to the region than ever before. According to the recently released KoC annual report, nearly 800 children participated in the 2015 program, which included both an after school and a summer component. The after school program was available to five school districts at nine sites and the five-week summer camp was available to primary, middle school and teen students. Read More
