OHIO New Faculty Welcome

This welcome program includes presentations from academic leadership, a faculty panel, and a services fair to become familiar with other departments and offices. The event provides an opportunity for new faculty to get acquainted with each other and learn about the University. The OHIO New Faculty Welcome is co-sponsored by CTL and the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost.

New Teaching Assistant Orientation

The orientation for new teaching assistants (TAs) introduces OHIO’s culture of academic support, encourages excellence in teaching, and initiates cross-disciplinary instruction. The orientation includes presentations from academic leadership, a Q&A session, and a special breakout orientation session for international TAs. CTL supports aspiring teachers as they hone their skills and develop a passion for instruction. The New TA Orientation is sponsored by CTL.
