This video features highlights from the 2019 Spotlight on Learning Conference.
The 2020 Spotlight on Learning Conference will give OHIO faculty and staff the opportunity to participate in multiple, concurrent sessions on topics related to the theme “Teaching Connections.”
This year’s theme encompasses many emerging topics in higher education, as well as OHIO’s Framework Themes. From collaborations between departments/programs/colleges/campuses to Team-Based Learning and teaching to dual-listed (under)graduate courses, faculty and instructors at Ohio University are establishing interdisciplinary partnerships that strengthen our students’ educational experience.
The 2020 Spotlight on Learning Conference is an occasion to share these approaches, seek insights that can help us be more successful as instructors, and come together to talk about opportunities on the horizon to further the University’s mission toward improving access and inclusion, student success and transformation, and research and knowledge discovery in support of vibrant communities.
This University-wide event will take place in Baker University Center on the Athens Campus. Anticipated activities include presentations, panel and open discussions, roundtables, and breakout sessions.
Co-sponsored by the Teaching, Learning, and Assessment Committee and the Office of Instructional Innovation (OII), this conference is open to all OHIO faculty/instructors, administrators, and teaching assistants. Event registration is forthcoming. For questions, please contact the Office of Instructional Innovation at firstname.lastname@example.org.
