The major components of the university's health, dental, and vision plans (deductibles, copays, benefit levels, etc.) for faculty, administrators and classified staff are remaining the same for fiscal/plan year 2013-14. While the salary brackets will readjust, the PPO, HMO and Dental premiums will remain stable for the upcoming year.

As a reminder, Federal healthcare legislation allows employees to provide healthcare coverage to their children up to age 26 regardless of financial dependence, student status, or marital status.  Coverage includes Medical, Prescription and Vision. Dental coverage also available.

Under Ohio law, employees can purchase healthcare (medical & prescription ONLY) coverage for eligible children between the ages 26 and 28, for an additional premium. More details regarding eligibility of adult children and the additional premiums are available at: http://www.ohio.edu/hr/benefits/healthcare/eligibility.cfm
(You are required to answer the questions regarding each covered dependent, regardless of age.)
