Training Technology

Professional Development Pathways will utilize Blackboard, the Learning Management System (LMS) that is currently in place for OHIO students. Using an LMS to facilitate employee learning at OHIO will provide training experiences that can be completed as employees’ schedules allow, via e-Learning modules. Instructor-led training will also have a course presence in the LMS to provide convenient access to course materials and allow for completion tracking.

Employee learning experience completion and course scores, where applicable, will be recorded in the LMS to facilitate the badging/certification process. Employees can log in to the LMS to track course enrollment and scores for completed training. These training records will be used to confirm an employee has completed all requirements to earn a certificate.
