Get fit without the gym or gimmicks. Here's how.

Regular exercise keeps your heart healthy and your weight in check. It even reduces stress. And that's not even the best news. You can find aerobic and strength-training opportunities in unexpected places:

  • Washing and waxing a car
  • Washing windows or floors
  • Gardening
  • Raking leaves
  • Pushing a stroller

How much physical activity do you need? Adults should do at least two hours and 30 minutes aerobic activity each week. Being active five or more hours each week can give you even more health benefits.
