Outside of his studies, Sam is an intern in the local government and writes a column called “Uncle Sam” for The Post, the largest student run newspaper on campus. He is very passionate about environmental sustainability and is an Ohio University Climate and Sustainability Ambassador. He was recently inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He enjoys running, hiking, yoga, reading, writing, eating, and spending time with his cat.
