Scholarly Interests 

Dr. Cornish’s research interests are firmly rooted in both dramaturgy and the history of German theatre. His work has been supported by a Fulbright Research Fellowship and a DAAD Postdoctoral Research Fellowship, both at the Institut für Theaterwissenschaft at the Freie Universtät Berlin. He is also interested in the performance of history and nation in Germany post-reunification. Dr. Cornish’s research interests are firmly rooted in both dramaturgy and the history of German theatre.
