Scholarly Interests

Dr. McDonald's scholarly interests include economics pedagogy and small business and community resilience. Her ongoing projects include interventions to improve diversity in the economics discipline, analyzing small business resilience to natural disasters, and the interactions between race, rurality, and the probability of living in a food desert.
