EVERFI/Vector AlcoholEDU and Sexual Assault Prevention Learning Modules
Ohio University partners with Everfi, an online program with different learning modules, to educate students about alcohol use, sexual respect, and bystander intervention skills.
Courses are offered to third-year students and are intended to be a refresher course prior to moving off campus.
Third-Year Student Courses
- Alcohol Edu Ongoing for Third Year Students
- Sexual Assault Prevention Ongoing for Third Year Students
All third-year students attending classes at the Athens campus who began academic courses at Ohio University during the 2020-2021 academic year will be offered Sexual Assault Prevention Ongoing (SAPO) and Alcohol Edu Education Ongoing (AEO) training courses.
All Part 1 modules are being sent to students prior to the start of the Fall Semester. Part 2 will follow 45 days after the completion of Part 1.
Failure to complete these courses may result in a registration hold.
ABOUT THE COURSES
Sexual Assault Prevention Ongoing and Alcohol Edu Education Ongoing refresh and reinforce key strategies of sexual assault prevention, active bystander intervention and alcohol harm-reduction. The goal is to promote our healthy campus majority and increase utilization of health prevention strategies on campus and in the Athens community. It reinforces the information learned during your first-year Alcohol Education/Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates course.
The course must be completed within 30 days of receiving the assignment.
