Admissions


The Graduate College processes all applications for graduate degree and non-degree education. Begin your application process by confirming that you meet the minimum requirements.

Application Deadlines

Application deadlines are set by each academic program. Please review the program website for details. If no deadline is posted, applications should be submitted at least six weeks prior to the intended start term. For international students who need to apply for a Visa, submit your application at least eight months prior to your intended start term.

First Ohio University Graduate Application

US Citizens, Permanent Residents, Asylee, Refugee, TPS and DACA - degree-seeking

$50 USD

International - degree-seeking

$55 USD

Certificate, Non-Degree, or Transient

$35 USD

Subsequent/Additional Ohio University Graduate Application

$25 USD

Change of Application or Admission Term or Switch between on-campus/on-line

$10 USD

Fees effective December 1, 2016. All application fee(s) are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Application Fee Waivers

The Graduate College offers a waiver of the application fee for participants of the McNair Scholars program. The Graduate College has no other application fee waivers.

Some academic programs may offer an application fee waiver on a case-by-case basis. Questions about program-based fee waivers should be sent directly to the academic program.
