Riley (he/him/his) is a second-year master's student in the College Student Personnel program here at OHIO doing a practicum with OGO this fall. He wanted to work in the office to get a better understanding of what the staff perspective is like when working with study abroad or study away opportunities.
In his undergrad, Riley studied German and International Studies at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. Though he was not able to go on a study abroad opportunity in this undergrad, he has many hopes of traveling to different countries (like Germany, Austria, Switzerland) that were focused on in his degree, and many others too. He enjoys learning languages (currently learning Japanese) and hopes to travel to many countries in the future.
Ask Riley About:
What it's like working with OGO, what it's like being in graduate school, or anything related to learning new languages, studying abroad, etc.. He's a new face in the office, so feel free to ask him about anything. Beyond OGO things, ask him about what video games he plays, what music he likes to listen to, or literally anything else. :)
"I love being able to see the excitement that people have when planning a new experience and being able to support them with anything new in the process." - Riley on his favorite aspect of working at the Office of Global Opportunities
