IEP Study Away Advisor
Walter International Education Center
Ellie joined the IEP team in July 2015. She is an (almost!) a twice graduate of Ohio University: 2015 BA Anthropology and anticipated December 2020 MBA.
As an IEP Study Away Advisor, Ellie connects OHIO students, faculty and staff to programs and support through CIS Abroad and Kaya Responsible Travel. This includes advising on semester, summer, intern, TEFL, and virtual global programs. She also coordinates several OHIO-credit faculty-led programs.
During her undergraduate years, Ellie participated in three global programs: Spanish Language and Culture in Merida, Mexico; Human Rights, Law & Justice in Northern Ireland, and Global Public Health in Costa Rica. Since then, she has been fortunate to visit the Dominican Republic, Ireland, Jamaica, England, Iceland, Denmark, Ecuador, Indonesia, Canada, Vietnam, Thailand, Portugal and the Bahamas.
Outside of the office, Ellie loves Pilates, coffee, Great Danes...and traveling, of course!
Schedule with her to chat about: interning abroad, earning transfer credit on CIS Abroad programs, and semester-long study abroad programs that are more affordable than an in-state semester on campus.
