Doreen Siilo Doreen Maanuor Siilo

Doreen hails from the Upper West Region of Ghana.  She holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana.

Her research interests are children with special health needs, education and women in developing countries.

Doreen is a graduate from the University of Ghana with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French with Political Science. She is from Navrongo in the Upper East region of Ghana and her research interest lies in the domain of governance and the strengthening of institutions in Africa.

Ishmael is a young man who hails from La in the Greater Accra region of Ghana. He completed University of Education, Winneba with a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts. His research interest is to delve deeply into promoting  African Cultural Values through the Arts.

John Ernest Ashietey John Ernest Ashietey

John comes from Accra, Ghana. He holds a Bachelor's degree in French and Sociology(minor) from KNUST, Ghana. His interests are in Francophone African Literature and how education can be used as a tool for development.

Kofi graduated from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a bachelors’ degree in political science.  He hails from (Ahenema Kokoben) Kumasi in Ghana. He is interested in public policy making in Africa and its effect on the judicial system. He plays soccer, loves music and plays the trumpet.

Maha Ahmed Osman Shibini Maha Ahmed Osman Shibini

Maha Ahmed Osman Shibini is a journalist and researcher. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Omdruman Islamic University with major in journalism and public relations. She is originally from Abri in Northern Sudan. She is interested in Media, Culture and Gender Development. She speaks Nubian and Arabic.

Margaret Wanjiru Gatonye Margaret Wanjiru Gatonye 

 

Margaret Gatonye holds an MA in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi and a BA in Communication from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. She is from Kenya and has interest in social inclusion, community development and policy. She wants to use knowledge in African Studies to influence national and regional policy, and to promote social inclusiveness and sustainable development in Africa.

Prince Kwarteng Crooklynn Prince Kwarteng – Crooklynn 

Prince  grew up in Osu, a suburb of Accra, Ghana but originally hails from the Ashanti region of Ghana. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). Prince speaks Twi, Ga, Fante and English. He is interested in researching on Development issues in Africa.

Prince Osei Asibia Duodu Prince Osei Asibia Duodu 

Prince hails  from Offinso in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. He has a  Bachelor's Degree in Political Studies from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). His research interest are in governance, public sector reforms and public policy and how this will serve as a transformational tool to improve public service delivery in Africa.

Rosa Armstrong Rosa Armstrong

Rosa obtained her bachelor's from the University of Ghana and Université Rennes 2, France. She speaks Twi, Fante and some Portuguese. She is interested in the arts, education, diversity and global affairs. She keeps a blog, where she reviews fiction and loves participating in informal multicultural events with international friends. She wants to use literature to influence thought, promote international relationships and break stereotypes.

Samuel K Egyir Samuel K Egyir 

Samuel comes from Central Region, Ghana. He completed his undergraduate  studies at University for Development Studies where he majored in Economics and Entrepreneurship. His research area is development economics.

Tigistu Tiruneh Beyene Tigistu Tiruneh Beyene

Tigistu is from Ethiopia, the cradle of human beings and where coffee originated. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Hawass University, and a  Master's of Arts degree in English Literature from Addis Ababa University. He has been working as a lecturer of English language and literature at Woldia University, Ethiopia. His research focuses on the history, identity, wisdom, and geography of Africa from the perspectives of western discourses.

Wawire Namisoho Purity Wawire Namisoho Purity

Wawire Namisoho Purity is a teacher and researcher. She holds a BA in Education Arts from Egerton University with a major in Kiswahili literature and Religious Studies. She is born and raised in a small town in Kitale, Western part of Kenya, where family resides. She is interested in education, religion and Gender development focusing on the immediate challenges affecting Africa’s education system, religion and intersections of language and African traditional beliefs. She aims to improve Africa livelihood, religion and social life.
