Michael Bierut, graphic designer, design critic and educator,  has been a partner in the New York office of the internationally recognized design firm Pentagram since 1990. He is a senior critic in graphic design at the Yale School of Art and a co-editor of three Looking Closer graphic design anthologies. He is a founding writer of the Design Observer blog. Bierut has won hundreds of design awards and his work is represented in numerous museum
permanent collections.

Dr. Marina Peterson Published in the South Atlantic Quarterly

Feb 10, 2016 Dr. Marina Peterson, School of Interdisciplinary Arts, contributed an article to the January 2016 issue of South Atlantic Quarterly, for an issue focused on Welfare and Precarity. Her article is entitled “Sensory Attunements: Working with the Past in the Little Cities of Black Diamonds.” The South Atlantic Quarterly is published by Duke University Press.
