Dan Harper

Assistant Professor of Interior Architecture

Active in interior design education since 2006, Dan has been an interior designer since the 1990s. With projects across the country, his work primarily focuses on contract interiors and has designed corporate headquarters, banks, and in the healthcare field. Dan holds an MID as well as an MA in Sociology and is currently working on a Phd in education. Dan is a professional member of IDEC (Interior Design Educators Council) and currently serves as an associate editor of the IDEC EXCHANGE. As an interior designer, he has been certified by NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification). Dan’s research interests include design education, housing and the evolution of the meaning of ‘home’, and studies of work styles and workplace applications.
