In 2015, the Athena Cinema celebrates its 100th Anniversary as one of the nation’s oldest movie theaters. The Athena will be hosting monthly screenings of iconic films through the decades. Join us as we celebrate! Surveillance expert Harry Caul (Gene Hackman) is hired by a mysterious client’s brusque aide (Harrison Ford) to tail a young couple, Mark (Frederic Forrest) and Ann (Cindy Williams). Tracking the pair through San Francisco’s Union Square, Caul and his associate Stan (John Cazale) manage to record a cryptic conversation between them. Tormented by memories of a previous case that ended badly, Caul becomes obsessed with the resulting tape, trying to determine if the couple are in danger. Matinee pricing is $5.00 per ticket and any show happening before 6:00 p.m. is considered a matinee. For more information: http://athenacinema.com/100years/
