Program Fees
Program fees are listed below for 2024. Fees include course instruction and most supplies and materials needed for participation (i.e. art supplies, technological equipment, etc.). Students participating in the OHIO Summer Music Academy must supply their own instrument and accessories, and students studying Dance and Theater will require appropriate clothing and footwear for practice and performances.

Payment Deadlines & Policies
Deadline for payment in full for all programs is May 10, 2024. Registrations not paid in full at this time may be cancelled.
Students withdrawing from a program prior to start date are eligible for a full refund of fees paid. No refunds will be issued after start dates of programs.
Financial Aid & Scholarships
Students may apply for financial aid or merit scholarships to assist with the payment of program fees. Apply by April 21, 2024 to qualify and complete the financial aid and/or scholarship application along with your registration. Financial aid and scholarships do not apply toward the cost of housing and meal plan.
HOW TO APPLY: Complete the online registration form for your program and select the option to apply for financial aid or merit scholarships at the end of the registration process. You will need to upload an essay or statement of financial need, or an image portfolio or performance video documentation for merit scholarship applications.
Program Discounts
Alumni Discount
Welcome back, Bobcats! Children and dependents of Ohio University alumni receive a 10 percent discount on program fees. Enter your degree program completed and year of graduation at registration to receive your discount. Only one discount will apply.
Staff and Faculty Discount
Children and dependents of Ohio University staff and faculty qualify for a 10 percent discount on program fees. Enter employee name and department at registration to receive your discount. Only one discount will apply.
Undergraduate Scholarships
New! The College of Fine Arts will guarantee a $2000 scholarship to all summer pre-college students who successfully complete their program and then matriculate to an undergraduate degree in the College of Fine Arts at Ohio University.
This is a minimum 4-year scholarship guarantee of at least $2000 ($500 per year), which could be in the form of a talent award, named award, or trustee award. Larger scholarships will supersede this award.
