Living on Campus

Luchs Hall

Housing

Staying in our university residence halls gives students the full Ohio University experience! This year we’ll be staying in Luchs Hall, a South Green residence hall built in 2015 and just a short walk from Nelson Court cafeteria and the College of Fine Arts.

Students are housed in double rooms with twin extra-long beds, and those joining the program with friends or family members have the option to request a roommate in advance. Our Resident Advisors, all current Ohio University students, stay in the building and provide round-the-clock support as well as coordinating extracurricular events and outings. Students will have the opportunity to explore our beautiful campus as well as Uptown Athens and the natural beauty of the Ridges.

Meal Plan

Breakfast and dinner are held in Nelson Court, which offers a variety of options for all dietary needs. Menus change regularly but can be viewed online to plan for each student’s particular needs. Any questions regarding menu planning for individual students can be directed to our campus dietition, Angie Bohyer, at bohyer@ohio.edu.

Weekday lunches are provided in partnership with a variety of local Uptown Athens restaurants so that students can experience all that Athens has to offer.
