Photography + Integrated Media presents visiting artist A.L. Steiner Thursday February 18 at 5 p.m. in Mitchell Auditorium, made possible by the Clarence White Jr. Fund for Photography.

The work of skeptical queer eco-feminist artist A. L. Steiner is featured in permanent collections of The Brooklyn Museum of Art, Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, and The Museum of Modern Art among others. Her work incorporates photography, video, installation, collage, collaboration, performance, and writing.

This visiting artist lecture is made possible by the Clarence White Jr. Fund for Photography Lecture Series, featuring leading artists and scholars in the field of photographic media. Representing an invaluable aspect of the Photography + Integrated Media Program, visiting artists conduct studio visits with students and engage in public lecture events. Past visiting artists include Jan Avgiko, Burt Barr, Geoffrey Batchen, Sadie Benning, Jim Campbell, Nancy Davenport, Moyra Davey, Liz Deschenes, Nan Goldin, Dan Graham, Kahn/Selesnik, Craig Kalpaljin, Clarissa Sigh, Catherine Wagner, and Frank Gohlke.
