Explore Bachelors of Music in Composition“As a musician, I attempt to hear something that someone else plays and learn it as a type of word. I then study that word, and the context in which I can incorporate it musically, ultimately making my own statement.”
“I’ve never in my life been felt comfortable making mistakes. Here, everyone is OK with it. I’ve learned that messing up is really the only way you can learn to fix something–that true learning comes in the process of fixing a mistake. It’s not about being competitive, it’s about growing.”
