Daouda is from a Western African country, Burkina Faso, best known for hosting FESPACO, the Pan African Film Festival, the biggest African Film Festival happening every two years. Daouda was a Fulbright scholar and studied Communication and Multimedia at California State University, East Bay. He grew up watching films, and came to realize that cinema is the best medium to connect peoples around the world. Daouda feels very honored and excited to join the School of Film to learn advanced filmmaking skills in order to share his stories with the rest of the world.
