Shelley Delaney (Associate Artistic Director) heads the Performance Area at the Ohio University School of Theater. For Tantrum Theater, she acted in Tammy Faye’s Final Audition by Merri Biechler and directed The Cake by Becca BrunstetterHer professional acting credits include work at The Cincinnati Playhouse, McCarter Theatre, Bay Street Theatre, Victory Gardens, GeVa, Cleveland Play House, Delaware Theatre Company, Virginia Stage, Two River Theatre, La Mama, Ensemble Studio Theatre, HERE, the Ohio Theater and many others. Her film work includes Radio Days, and the independent feature films: Departure, Claire in MotionThou Wast Mild and Lovelyand Hero Tomorrow. Shelley has directed a range of plays at OU and professionally, including multiple world premieres.

Shelley received her MFA in Acting from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, has trained with Shakespeare and Company and MICHA, and is a proud member of both Actors’ Equity Association and SAG/AFTRA. She is a member of the National Alliance of Acting Teachers.
