Adjunct Professor of Voice; Athens Community Music School Master Teacher, Voice

Alexandra Bruno currently resides in Athens, OH where she serves on the faculty of Ohio University as Adjunct Professor of Voice as well as teaches at the Athens Community Music School. Alexandra holds two Master’s Degrees from Ohio University in Vocal Performance and Vocal Performance: Pedagogy.  She teaches students of all ages and is especially interested in singing and teaching a variety of styles including classical, jazz, pop, and musical theater.  Prior to attending Ohio University, Alexandra attended West Liberty University where she received her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance.  In addition to teaching, she is an active performer in Ohio and is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) where she attends conferences and keeps up with the latest in vocal pedagogy and voice science.  Alexandra’s approach to developing a voice through private voice instruction is different with each student and the uniqueness of each student's voice is embraced throughout their vocal study.
