Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships Services

The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships provides services to students and parents both in-person and remotely. You can visit our office on the ground floor of Chubb Hall. You can also reach us at financial.aid@ohio.edu or 740.593.4141. You can also contact our office to schedule an in-person appointment or schedule a virtual appointment with your assigned financial aid advisor. Required financial aid documents can be submitted using our Secure Upload Portal (see our Troubleshooting Guide for assistance) or faxed to 740.593.4140. Documents can also be dropped off in our office or placed in the drop box located inside the south entrance doors on the ground floor of Chubb Hall (Court Street side of the building). Please make sure your name and student PID number are listed on all documents. You are encouraged to frequently visit your My OHIO Student Center to review your To Do List to see if any items are needed to complete the processing of your financial aid.

    Because of the delayed launch of the 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and issues with submission, OHIO has extended its first-priority FAFSA filing date.

The OHIO Guarantee

The OHIO Guarantee sets the standard among Ohio's public institutions of higher education by taking the guesswork out of budgeting for college. The OHIO Guarantee is a cohort based, level-rate tuition, housing, dining, and fee model that assures students and their families a set of comprehensive rates for the pursuit of an undergraduate degree at Ohio University. Tuition, housing, dining, and fee rates established at enrollment remain unchanged for 12 consecutive semesters.
