Each year, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA serves as the application for all federal, state, and institutional financial aid at Ohio University. Each year, students can file their FAFSA online usually beginning October 1. Launch of the 2024-25 FAFSA was delayed until December 31, 2023. Please visit to complete your 2024-25 FAFSA.

FAFSA results must be received before or during the time of enrollment to be considered for financial aid. The financial aid year begins in the summer semester and ends in the spring semester.
