The Individual Course Committee is concerned with coordination at the university level of addition, deletion, and changes in all individual course offerings.­

The cut-off dates for Fall ICC reviews are as follows:

Consideration for the October 1 meeting – courses must be at the ICC level by Monday, September 16.

Consideration for the October 29 meeting – courses must be at the ICC level by Monday, October 14.

Consideration for the November 26 meeting – courses must be at ICC level by Monday, November 11.

  • New courses and changes to or deletions of courses are submitted through OCEAN 2.0 using the appropriate form from the drop down list.
  • Please provide a summary of proposed changes as well as justifications for any proposed changes using the text box provided at the top of the course change form.
  • For dual listing a new graduate course with an existing undergraduate course in OCEAN, clearly state the dual-listing in the discussion tab along with the qualitative and quantitative expectations will be for grading of the graduate students in the course compared to the undergraduates.
  • New experimental semester courses can be submitted using the Experimental Course Form found here [Word]. Note that experimental courses only require approval at the department/school and college levels.
