Schacht is a marketing professor, pioneering branding, public relations, social media and email strategy in the beauty industry. She focuses on selling and branding products that make consumers feel more beautiful and confident, specifically looking at products that don't put consumers health at risk.
She has launched and managed a skincare line aimed at ridding beauty routines of harmful chemicals, as well as worked in the retail industry at The Limited, Bath and Body Works, Astor and Black, Express and Coach to name a few. Schacht has also worked in healthcare and nutrition and the fashion industry. Her work in retail has helped her understand the science of shopping and how to tell a brand's story.
Aside from her expertise in branding, marketing, the beauty industry and retail, Schacht is also a board member at The Children's Hunger Alliance where she supports efforts to ensure the community's children don't suffer from food insecurity.
