Overview

New York City is one of the fashion capitals of the world and in preparing our students to enter this world, it is important to learn about the different aspects of the industry by witnessing this first hand at companies and corporate offices within the city. Students will have the opportunity to make connections between their classroom experiences and the reality of the Apparel and Retail industry through this educational excursion. Students will explore different aspects of the Apparel and Retail Industries through interacting with employees, managers, and business professional along with on-site visitations to apparel and retail companies in New York City. 

Details

Students travel to and stay in New York City for about 4 days (Wednesday – Sunday). On Wednesday – Friday, students visit a variety of retail companies representing various aspects of the industry from trend forecasting to retail sales.
